The celtic season of Oestara is upon us, as we move fully into April. It is a time when the ancient celtic peoples looked to Ostara, goddess of spring, fertility, rebirth and renewal, and Christians look to the Christ of Easter, who brings hope of rebirth, renewal and resurrection. Although Easter has many connotations and belief systems woven round the month, it is clear that we all pray with hope, for a bright and peaceful future. It is a new season of fresh green life, of eggs and birth, and new beginnings; of rabbits and family fun. And for me, it is a season with exciting promise. In the third age of my life, I find things are growing at a pace only young people should have to ride. But in the birthing of my novel, 'Fires of Briganta', I now find I have sprouted a website. Well, who knew?
Happy Easter everyone!
