We are walking into the darkest time of the year; a time when ancient Celts in our lands celebrated mid-winter with feasting and music, as they approached the shortest day of the year. They saw the festival of Yule as a passage they must walk through in order to reach the coming spring.
These days, we begin our preparations to celebrate Christmas, with trees, lights and feastings - it's not much different to how the Celtic people celebrated, all those years ago.
Focus changes, but we all 'party on!'
